Another month older!
And it was another fun one! Carson's first Christmas was so thrilling for James and I. The Holidays have always been fun, but there is no comparision when you have a little one. I just can't wait until next year when he really can be more into it!
Lately we have been enjoying things slowing down a little. The end of the year was so crazy busy with the Holidays and everything, being home has been such a nice break. And we have been loving our quality time with the little monster! We stopped at the playground to snap a few pictures this month. We have a little while before your swinging from the monkey bars, but you sure like to watch any other kiddos who are running around.
Mostly I got a lot of raspberries when we were taking these. Just because he is so cute (especially when he's being silly)....
What you have been up to this month:
1. You weighed 17 lbs 12 ozs at the Doctor's office this week.
2. Your favorite food are still Apples. You just gooble them up whenever we have them at breakfast with your cereal. Pears seem to be a close second though.
3. You cut your first two teeth this month! And judging by how much your drooling (see above pictures), I think we have more on the way.
4. You have started babbling A LOT this month. Your favorite is do-do-da-da-di-di. Anything that starts with a "D". Your Dad is convinced you are saying Daddy, and I can't seem to convince him you are to young to know what you are saying.
5. You love to go on walks (and even runs with Mommy) whenever we'll take you. You LOVE being outside! If you're fussy, a quick stop in the garage with daddy or out in the backyard cheers you right up.
6. You absolutely love to bounce and have even started to scoot just a little bit too! You HATE being on your stomach, and so there hasn't been any crawling yet, but when your happy and excited you sit on the floor bouncing up and down like a little jumping bean. You have figured out if you do it enough, you will inch forward a little bit. So I guess we will be working on the crawling thing in the next few months (gulp!). Look out Kelly! The boy is getting ready to move!
