Easter Weekend

Springtime is one of my favorite times of the year. And Easter is always a highlight. Whats not to love? Any holiday that involves Cadbury Creme Eggs is ok by me!  But seriously....it is a time to remember Jesus' resurrection, and everything he did (and continues to do) for us in our lives.  We have been so very blessed in this past year.

This year we headed out to the Hill Country to spend the weekend with James' family.  His Mom's 60th birthday also happened to fall on Good Friday, so we had a lot to celebrate!  We were a little nervous about the almost 4 hour car ride, and our little wiggle worm, but he did pretty well.  Once we hit the 2 1/2 to 3 hour mark, he was definatley ready to GET OUT of that carseat, but we made it in one piece. 

Carson had such a great time chasing his two older cousins, and of course getting spoiled by his Grandma.  The Easter Bunny even found him all the way at Canyon Lake!  Heres a few shots from the weekend.  I am going to do a seperate post about Grandma's birthday in a little bit.....stay tuned!
