My Soldier

Nothing makes me smile more than getting new pictures from James while he is deployed. This morning I had a few new ones waiting for my in my Inbox. To get to SEE him the the very best way to start my day. So, I thought I would share....





These were taken at the site of the Battle of Qala-i-Jangi, which marked the beginning of the War in Afghanistan for the United States in 2001, as I understand it. It is also the location of the Memorial to Mike Spann, the first American killed in Afghanistan War.



I miss him so much, and I just can't wait to see that handsome face in person! I love you Jim :)

    Seanny, I think he switches off between that one and the other one yall got in his last deployment. He loves that patch :)
